"Friend or Companion"

Day 16
Ruth, was a young woman of the Moabite tribe that married her 1st husband Mahlon the son of Jewish descendants. She was not only a loyal, faithful, and humble daughter in-law, she was one who trusted in the God of Israel, her mother in-law Naomi's God. Ruth faithfulness led her to a foreign land(Judah) in search of provision. Judah is where she would be found working in the fields, and how she would be noticed by her 2nd husband Boaz, who would also become her kinsman redeemer. Ruth and Boaz, would birth a son and call him Obed; Ruth is the direct descendant of Jesus Christ.
