I feel like her story is very similar to my own. Martha is big on her roles and responsibilities when she feels there’s a need for things to be done in a timely manner. I feel like she has a heart that cares deep for others, but it’s often overshadowed by being distracted with getting the work done in times where she could instead be fully present in a moment.

From Martha’s life we can learn:

• to allow others to be in control

• get better with being present in the moments that matter

• trust God more instead of worrying so much

• the work is not important if they don’t feel your love
