Rahab was known as a prostitute. However, she believed in the one true God. When she heard the stories about how God brought them out, she did not deny it. Therefore, she used wisdom when the men of God came to hide in her house. She hid them to protect them. In exchange for her saving their lives, her and her family lives was spared when God sent the Hebrews to conquer the land. She was obedient to the instructions given, which was a very important part. Had she not been obedient, her family would have all died.

We learn from this woman's life:

• The person who has committed sin can still be saved. If you only believe, God can and He will!

• Obedience is necessary.

• With God, all risk is worth it. Even if it is scary. I am sure hiding the men was very scary. She could have died due to it. Instead she saved her lineage.
