Eve

“To breathe “ or To live”

Eve
Eve

Day 7

Eve is traditionally known as the “mother of all living”. She is the first woman created by God be a helpmete to Adam and is historically known for “eating the forbidden fruit “ and convincing Adam as well to eat the forbidden fruit. This event to cause all mankind to be born with a sinful nature.

Although most of us women will be looking for Eve after we reunite with our love ones. We want to see the woman who is the reason we experience pain during child birth, bleed once a month, and ultimately took us from Paradise to the Hard Knock Life.

But life has taught me, there’s more that Eve gave us.

Biblical References: Genesis chapters 2-4

From this woman's life we learn:

  1. For most of us, as Eve we are trailblazers. Most of us were the first to do it. First to be entrepreneurs, first to want more, first to go to college, first to pursue healthy relationships with our children, first to realize we have to apologize to our children, first to walk in righteousness and no longer sin conscienceless, first to be healed, first to do something different. Now Eve unlike us has no Big Sis, no examples, nope she did Life first.

  2. Secondly, Eve taught us as women we are physically the givers of Life… but even for my sisters who aren’t mothers, we as women are STILL givers of life. We carry life and decide the QUALITY of life. We carry this life in our relationships, finances, work, court rooms, boards rooms. Some describe it as a women’s presence, intuition, the vibe, or a woman’s touch, it’s that Life.

  3. And Lastly, we as women are Legendary. Our role and significance since the beginning is remembered and remarkable. Whether in a garden, or a two bedroom apartment, our influence, our presence and our ability is legendary. We all want to make a difference and I believe everyday we do. Small or large, many or few, yes good or bad, we make a difference. Our lives affect others and like Eve our lives has complexity. Some will see only the apple, but me I see the trailblazer, the life giver and the legend.

    In Eve.

    In Me.

    In you.
